Day 1 - Professional Day Development

Something I was personally very excited about, and congratulated the Team on,
was the very First day of the Event. A fantastic idea, that we all needed,
was the Professional Development Day. It gave the opportunity to everyone,
especially Students, Instructors and Performers, to pose questions and
discuss the tricks of the trade, how to run a successful Dance School,
and if you ask me, applied for any business you run. It was a great opportunity
to finally ask those questions we always wanted to ask, but most importantly
get some answers from "the professionals". The interest was overwhelming.
All done in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the Team really made it worthwhile
for all. The wonderful Alex & Chi from San Francisco gave us their insight of
Teaching Techniques for Show Moves, a Syllabus Development was presented on how and why to Teach, Angela gave us her insight ever so passionately about a 'Successful Marketing Structure' for your dance business, Marcia presented us with her amazing 'Secrets to Managing your Students and Business for more Profits' and a wonderful Panel of Guests including Edie the Salsa Freak, Albert Torres & Henry Herrera all gave us their secrets and tips on "How to Run Successful Events". Notes were taken,
hands were continuously being raised, discussions were made amongst everyone, and
the only thing against us was time. But what a fantastic Introduction to the weekend.
